I had to go to the DMV yesterday to pick up my new license plates and change my address since I recently moved. In the past going to DMV had been a terrible experience kind of like going to the dentist or something like that. The lines are always long and if you didn’t have an appointment good luck getting any help. Yesterday was different though. Maybe I hit the right day and the right time, but I think they’ve just gotten a lot more efficient in how the process works.
Sure it was early in the morning before work and there wasn’t that many people waiting, but I felt that service seemed to be much better than usual. They had a desk in the front to route people to certain areas and direct them to appropriate windows during their turn. It just seemed like there were more windows which made things move a lot faster. The person at the window was able to help me and even another person was there to assist her on certain things.
I was in there and out of there within an hour without an appointment. It just seemed like the service was much better than previous times. I mean I won’t go there to hang out, but it’s good to know that you can get quality service when you need it.
