I recently started reading an auto blog called Leftlane News. It’s a pretty cool blog dedicated to news about cars and new models coming out in the near future. They had a recent post about the New York Auto show and there were quite a few cars that caught my interest.
The 2007 Audi TT has a much bolder look to it and I like the styling over the previous Audi TT models. The spoiler deploys at 75 mph and I’m not sure if the previous Audi TT had that feature before but I know VW used it in their Turbo Beetle. It seems to be fairly quick but there’s so many quick cars out there now its hard to determine what’s fast and what’s not anymore unless it’s really out of the ordinary.
The 2007 Infiniti G35 has some subtle changes but good ones to note. It now breaks 300hp, which is nice upgrade over previous models. It is also good to see that Infiniti still offers manual transmissions where some manufacturers have switched to only automatic with paddle shifting on its models. Another nice feature since I like car audio is that they put subwoofers in the Infiniti G35 doors. Many aftermarket car shops have been doing this for years, but its nice to see improved audio in a stock vehicle, since it looks like its even harder this year to change out the head unit.
The 2007 Lexus LS 600h doesn’t seem like a typical hybrid, but I’ve read that Toyota will offer hybrid versions of all its models over the next few years. Though it probably won’t get the same gas mileage as the Prius, its nice to see car manufacturers attempting to be more environmentally friendly without sacrificing performance.
The 2007 Bentley Continental GTC is a really nice car, but it’s a car I’ll probably never be able to afford. One can always hope.
There are plenty of other articles so make sure to check out Leftlane News for more details.
