Self PhotoBrandon Quintana has been actively involved in web development for the past 9 years. Proficient web programming languages include XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript. Brandon is currently working on many Web 2.0 projects utilizing AJAX technologies.

Brandon began web development when he was 14 years old at the Pleasanton Unified School District. He not only gained experience in web development, but Information Systems as well. This was the first job Brandon had related to computers, and he used it as a stepping stone for his web development career.

Brandon attended the University of California, Santa Barbara. He earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Engineering with an emphasis in CAD, Networking, and Multimedia. While he was at the University, Brandon worked as a computer sales associate at the UCSB Bookstore, an IT administrator at the Givertz Graduate School of Education, and as a web developer at Impact Corporate Promotions a small company based in Santa Barbara, CA.

After graduating from UCSB, Brandon moved back to the San Francisco Bay Area to pursue his web career. Brandon worked as an SEO/Web Developer at RW Lynch Company, Inc. There he met Joan Schafle, CEO of Lonzo Designs in Livermore, CA. Brandon works for Lonzo Designs as a Senior Web Programmer and through her became even more serious about his freelance work.

By being a freelance web developer, Brandon has had the opportunity to work with many companies as well as individuals. Brandon has worked with entreprenuers, programmers, and designers to create web projects for companies large and small. Brandon is working with a solutions company, SolutionSet, with offices in Palo Alto, CA as well as San Francisco, CA. He has also recently teamed up with design company Fogworks, now Hitch Creative based in the San Francisco East Bay in San Ramon, CA with designers/entreprenuers Dana Kirk and Gaird Schlesinger. Through Dana and Gaird, Brandon has teamed up with Michael and Megan Andreosky from Versatyle, a design company out in Alamo, CA. By using his expertise with a variety of different companies, Brandon hopes to continue with his success and build some great Web 2.0 applications.

Only in his twenties, Brandon is only getting his feet wet in this industry. By keeping up with current technologies, Brandon hopes that Web 2.0 will be the next big thing in the years to come. He has made great leaps forward, but wants to continue learning and evolving as the industry changes. If you are interested in his work or would like a quote, please feel free to contact him.
