The past couple of months, I’ve taken up golf as a hobby. Work was taking over my life, and I wanted to start a hobby that could give me more of a balance in my life. A few of my friends play golf, so I decided it’s a sport that I could pick up and it would give me something to do other than work.
Up here in the Bay Area there are plenty of courses to play, but I usually stay around the East Bay since it’s close to home. Some of the courses I play on a regular basis include Mountain House, Las Positas, and Pleasanton Fairgrounds. I also had the opportunity to travel down to San Diego a few weeks ago and play at Balboa Park.
While I still have much to learn, I think I’ve come a long way since I first started. I enjoy it and that’s all that’s really important right now. If you have any suggestions of courses I should check out, drop me a line.
