Since I’ve already written an entry today on a restaurant, I figured I would write about another one. I guess I must be hungry or something. Fernando’s Mexican Restaurant is in downtown Pleasanton off Main Street at 348 Saint Mary St. I usually go on the weekends for margaritas and Mexican food. It’s kind of funny, in my search to find the address on the web, so I could include it in the article; I read some of the other reviews that other customers had made.
Overall, they said the food was great, which I agreed, but they said the margaritas weren’t that great. In my opinion I seemed to like them and I think I go back just to have a couple of drinks then eat some food as well. For me the food seems to be average priced for the downtown area so maybe I?m a little off on my margarita ratings. I’m not sure.
In any case, each time I went I was seating promptly, and the food was really pretty good. The restaurant wasn’t too crowded each time I went so this might have made the service seem better for me. I’m usually not in a rush when I go out to eat. It gives me a break from work and I like to take my time. I think I enjoy my meal better that way.
Like I said in the last entry, I don’t work in the food industry so my opinion on the topic may be different than someone else.
