For those of you with iPods with the Dock Connection, there’s a cool little gadget worth looking into called the Pocket Dock Combo. What this little thing is is an adapter for your iPod with Dock connection to use any standard USB or Firewire cable. Previous generation Pocket Dock’s only allow a USB connection or a Firewire connection. This is a convenient for those of you that like to transfer data to and from multiple computers. Apple updated its website today to include its new 17-inch MacBook Pro. It has very similar specs as the 15-inch Mac Book Pro, but adds the top end 2.16 GHz Intel Core Duo Processor as a standard option as well as Firewire 800 and an 8x Superdrive. Other features include 1GB of RAM expandable to 2GB, built-in iSight Camera, MagSafe Power Adapter, 256MB ATI Mobility Radeon X1600, Firewire 400, Bluetooth, and Airport Extreme all for the starting price of $2799. The details were accidentally leaked on the web by Seagate themselves describing their new 7200.10 series drives utilizing perpendicular technology. Two 750GB models have shown up on Seagate’s website as well as other 7200.10 drives ranging from 200GB-750GB. These drives all run at 7200 RPM and offer 16MB and 8MB buffers.
