There was a recent article on CNET News.com regarding monopoly issue against Microsoft, but this time by the search giant Google. With Internet Explorer 7 it puts the search on MSN and point more advertising dollars to that site due to its high volume of OS popularity. Google believes this is an unfair advantage in advertising.

Vitaly Friedman’s CSS showcase posts a pretty good collection of CSS navigation examples. The techniques showcase has examples of list-based navigation, drop down menus, and tabs. There are quite a few examples on there and it’s worth checking out. Some examples, since they rely heavily on CSS will not work in all browsers. As more and more people start adopting modern browsers, these navigation examples will be fully compatible.

The new Firefox 1.5.0.2 release provides native Intel support for Macintosh computers with the Intel Core processors as well as stability and security updates for all users. I had already been using Firefox 1.5.0.1 on both my Powerbook G4 as well as my Mac Mini Intel Core Solo so it shouldn’t be too much of a difference for me.
