Time.com’s 50 Coolest Websites

I came across Time.com’s 50 Coolest Websites on digg.com yesterday. I don’t know if this is a recent article or not because it doesn’t have a date associated with it, but it is for 2006 so it can’t be too old. They have some really cool sites on there a lot of which are Web 2.0 style. I only scanned through a few beyond the normal sites I visit on a daily basis. Going through all 50 can be pretty time consuming, but I’m sure when I get the time I’ll end up bookmarking all of them.

Fox Buys Two Internet Start-Ups

According to CNET News.com, News Corp.’s Fox Interactive Media has purchased Newroo and kSolo two start-up companies that let users remix music and media on the Internet. Newroo allows users to add information from websites and blogs and add it to their own site. kSolo allows users to record audio over song recordings.

Meedio is a company that makes products for the digital home. Their software allows the user to control and manage home entertainment, information and automation systems that run on TVs, computers and PDAs.
