After three years, analysts believe that MySpace is worth $15 billion as reported by CNET News.com. It was acquired for $580 million less than a year ago. MySpace has made some moves regarding advertising so much that they have sold out in some segments such as video.
MySpace has gained international appeal which has grown the user base even larger.
MySpace still has a lot of potential. Since being acquired, the system seems to be much more stable. It’s still not perfect, but I think it has improved greatly. I think they add features slowly but it?s at a pace where it won’t throw existing users off. All in all, MySpace is the most popular social network site and it continues to grow over time. Even if it’s worth $15 billion, I still think the site has a lot more potential.
